The holder (1) has a baseplate (7) and side elements (8), where the holder is manufactured from electrically conductive material. The side elements pass in a direction of a reflector (4) in an installed condition of the baseplate. The side elements make an electrically conductive connection between an igniter (9) of a lamp and the reflector. A retaining element fixes the lamp at a back side of the reflector. Clamping elements (10) are provided in the side elements, where the clamping elements are arranged in an area of the igniter for contacting the igniter.
