摘要 A method for preparing light olefins is provided to produce light olefins with high yield and selectivity and to replace an inexpensive olefin preparation process by naphtha cracking because methyl chloride obtained from natural gas is used as a raw material. A method for preparing light olefins includes the steps of: bringing a silicoaluminophosphate(SAPO) molecular sieve into contact with methyl chloride to prepare light olefins; inactivating at least a part of the silicoaluminophosphate(SAPO) molecular sieve as a carbonaceous material which is deposited on at least a part of the silicoaluminophosphate(SAPO) molecular sieve; regenerating the inactivated silicoaluminophosphate(SAPO) molecular sieve; and bringing the regenerated silicoaluminophosphate(SAPO) molecular sieve into contact with methyl chloride. A content of the carbonaceous material deposited on the regenerated silicoaluminophosphate(SAPO) molecular sieve is 10wt% or less.
