LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

A liquid crystal composition is provided to suppress the generation of singular points where collision between liquid crystal molecules occurs, and to improve light transmissivity by reducing strength of the generated singular points. A liquid crystal composition comprises a first substrate including a first electrode, a second substrate including a second electrode, and a liquid crystalline composition having liquid crystal molecules which are vertically aligned between the first substrate and the second substrate in a direction intersecting with the plates of the first substrate and the second substrate in absence of electric field.
