An automatic voltage regulator is provided to protecting a load stably by determining the variation of an input power and performing boosting up or doping down voltage according to a determination result. A boosting up switch(SW1) and a boosting down switch(SW2) is composed of an IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) which is conducted one direction according to a reverse-blocking diode and a control signal. In the first step direction switch, the boosting up and dropping down switch connect the reverse blocking diode in forward direction to IGBT. A second direction switch configured as same as a first switch is connected with the first switch in reverse direction so that the configuration of first and second switch is bidirectional. |
