A catalyst reaction device for removing soot and reforming tar is provided to increase generation efficiency, and to prevent degradation of generation efficiency due to the tar and the soot. A catalyst reaction device for removing soot and reforming tar includes the followings: a reaction chamber(20); a separation chamber(30) installed at a lower side of the reaction chamber; an inlet pipe(40) discharging supplied synthetic gas into the separation chamber and supplying the synthetic gas; a catalytic reforming layer(50) installed at a separated gap between an inner circumference of the reaction chamber and the inlet pipe; and a discharge pipe(60) discharging the reformed synthetic gas.
