A power supply apparatus for preventing an abnormal operation of a PFC IC is provided to supply stably driving power by preventing an abnormal operation of a PFC IC due to a spark. A first and second rectifier units(220,230) rectify an input voltage(Vin) having AC elements applied from the outside. A capacitor(C) is formed to smoothen the input voltage rectified by the first rectifier unit. An inductor(L) receives an output voltage of the capacitor and outputs the output current. A voltage division unit(240) divides the input voltage rectified by the second rectifier unit and outputs divided voltages(Vf). A PFC IC(250) compares the divided voltage with a predetermined reference voltage and outputs a control signal(S) for controlling the supply amount of output current. A switching unit(Q1) is turned on/off according to the control signal in order to control the supply amount of output current. |
