A linear generator is provided to improve energy efficiency by converting the mechanical kinetic energy into the electrical energy in an electric vehicle. A linear generator includes a generating unit(100) and a driving unit(200). The generating unit includes a slider and an armature. The slider has first to fourth yoke parts. Each yoke part is comprised of the yoke and a plurality of magnets. The armature has the coil aggregate. The coil aggregate is comprised of the plurality of coils. The driving unit includes a first base, a second base, and the driving unit. The driving unit slides the slider to one direction based on the armature by amplifying the displacement of the second base with regard to the first base. The driving unit includes a first driving lever(231) and a second driving lever(235).
