A welded mesh gabion and an assembly thereof are provided to assemble the prefabricated mesh gabion easily in the site by coupling the edges without additional spiral wires. A welded mesh gabion(100) comprises transverse iron wires(10) and longitudinal iron wires(20) which are arranged to intersect and welded by electric resistance. The transverse iron wire is bent at the angle of 30~150 degrees to be divided into a first transverse iron wire(110) and a second transverse iron wire(120), where the length of the first transverse iron wire is 0.2~0.5 times the length of the second transverse iron wire. The end of the first and second transverse iron wire is bent in a C shape to form a joint(130). A welded mesh gabion assembly is formed by arranging the welded mesh gabions to abut, aligning the joints of the iron wire and fastening with binding iron wires. |
