The casement has a protector flap (5) placed in front of a portion (42) of an opening. The flap is movably mounted between a protection position, in which the flap closes the portion, and a retracted position, in which the flap permits passage of a strike forming element (31) of a leaf through the portion. The flap is mounted such that the introduction of the element into the portion moves the flap from the protection position to the retracted position for stopping the introduction of the element into a cavity (41) of a lock in another leaf through the portion.
