It is intended to provide an absorbent article provided with a composite sheet which comprises a film sheet and a fiber mass and is excellent in the ability to draw in a liquid and the ability to prevent the backward flow. Namely, an absorbent article provided with a composite sheet comprising a film sheet (11) having multiple pores (110) formed therein and a fiber mass (13) laminated on one side of the film sheet (11), wherein the fiber mass (13) has a projected section (15) in which a part of the fiber mass (13) projects through the multiple pores (110) toward the other side of the film sheet (11). ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
