摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for electrooptical device capable of reliably preventing pads from being short-circuited with each other via a guard ring without drastically deteriorating a function as the guard ring even when connecting a wiring substrate and pads with an anisotropic conductive material, to provide an electrooptical device, and to provide an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: Although when connecting the flexible printed circuit substrate 90 to a pad formation region 12 of a first substrate 10 used for various kinds of electrooptical devices with the anisotropic conductive material, a conductive particle may break through an insulation film 70 to electrically connect to a second conductive layer 8s, the pads 102 are prevented from being short-circuited with each other via the guard ring 5a, even if the second conductive layer 8s of the guard ring 5 is electrically connected with a conductive pattern 91 of the flexible printed circuit substrate 90, since the second conductive layer 8s is divided by position corresponding to the pads 102 in the edge region 1z, and is made to be in an electrically floating state.
