PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development, the toner having good low temperature fixability and reproducibility of thin lines. SOLUTION: The toner has a core particle containing a crystalline resin and a shell layer containing an amorphous resin, wherein the content of the crystalline resin in the toner is from 15 wt% to 65 wt%, the melting point Tmc of the crystalline resin is from 25°C to 50°C, while the glass transition temperature Tg of the amorphous resin is from 60°C to 90°C, the acid value AVa of the amorphous resin is from 15 mgKOH/g to 50 mgKOH/g, and the acid value Avc of the crystalline resin satisfies the relationship of AVa>AVc.
