PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a IVR procedure.

SOLUTION: A memory part 23 memorizes a data of several past images relevant to several past positions having occurred in a past IVR procedure. A route map forming part 24 forms a route map showing a distribution of a plurality of first catheter images or blood vessel images by arranging a plurality of first catheter images or blood vessel images included in the several past images according to several positions. A catheter tip specifying part 25 specifies the tip of the second catheter image on the current image from the current image formed in the current catheter operation. A catheter tip position computing part 26 computes the position of the catheter tip on the route map from the positions of the specified catheter tip and the current image. An image selecting part 27 selects the specified past image corresponding to the position of the specified part on the computed route map from several past images. The selected past image is displayed on the image observation apparatus.
