PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the manufacturing cost of a superconductive magnet in a method of manufacturing the superconductive magnet for an MRI apparatus. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the superconductive magnet for the MRI apparatus includes a groove scraping step (a step S1) of scraping a groove on the outer surface of a mandrel; a G-FRP layer forming step (a step S2) of forming a G-FRP layer made of G-FRP wound around the outside of the mandrel at a winding angle corresponding to the linear expansion coefficient in the axial direction of the material of the mandrel at prescribed temperature; a fitting groove scraping step (a step S3) of scraping a fitting groove on the outer surface of the G-FRP layer to fit a superconductive cable into the groove; and a superconductive coil forming step (a step S4) of forming a superconductive coil on the outside of the mandrel by fitting the superconductive cable into the fitting groove.
