PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device for transferring content data to an optical disk without losing the value of a copy counter. SOLUTION: In a TV application program 110, when content data d13 stored in an HDD13 is moved to an optical disk such as an HD DVD, a copy counter d11 of this content data d13 also is moved to the optical disk. Then, in the TV application program 110, when a title key d12 for decoding content data d13 moved to the optical disk is stored in the optical disk after encryption, the copy counter d11 is used as one of parameters of the encryption.
