PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that in a transaction processing system, when changing a system of high security for confirming identification of a transactor, large investment is required for system renewal costs, time, and transition management, it is extremely difficult for respective financial institutions to reach a consensus and to advance a transition plan in a short period of time, and it is not possible to force an account owner in fear of privacy violation to accept a new system. SOLUTION: A system includes an authentication server 6 for identifying the transactor on the basis of an ID2, the authentication server 6 identifies the transactor on the basis of the ID2 of the transactor and when the transactor is identified, the ID1 of the transactor is obtained, and the obtained ID 1 is transmitted to a host computer 2 via a terminal device 4, so that the host computer 2 can identify the transactor on the basis of the ID1 in the conventional manner.
