PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage developing device capable of preventing a developer carrier from being deflected in the compact multi-stage developing device provided with a plurality of small-diameter developer carriers. SOLUTION: The multi-stage developing device 10 comprises: a first developer carrier 4a and a second developer carrier 4b disposed along the rotation direction of a photoreceptor drum 11; a developer supply unit 8; and a regulation blade 5. The regulation blade 5 is disposed facing a first developer carrier 4a arranged on the uppermost stream side along the rotation direction of the photoreceptor drum 11, and also is disposed facing a peak part of the magnetic pole S2 in which the changing rate of magnetic flux density near the peak part of the magnetic flux density is smallest among a plurality of magnetic poles of the first developer carrier 4a.
