PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pool water supply system which enables automatically supplying fuel pool water, at an emergency, such as, earthquake. SOLUTION: The fuel pool water supply system includes a water source 1 of make-up water, a fuel-pool water level gauge 12 for measuring the water level of a fuel pool 8; a skimmer surge tank water level gauge 13 for measuring the water level of a skimmer surge tank 11; a pump 3 activated or stopped automatically by signals, from at least one of the fuel master water level gauge 12 and the skimmer surge tank water level gauge 13; a fuel pool master valve 7 placed in a pipe connected from the pump 3 to the fuel pool 8 and opened and closed automatically by signals from the fuel pool water level gauge 12; and a skimmer surge tank master valve 10, placed in a pipe branched off from the pipe to the fuel pool 8 and connected to the skimmer surge tank 11 and opened and closed automatically by signals from the skimmer surge tank water level gauge 13, in the fuel-pool water supply system for supplying the make-up water to the fuel pool 8 to store the spent fuel of a reactor.
