PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall structure which is constructed with good workability, and exerts increased flexibility of setting plan, and to provide a wall construction method. SOLUTION: According to the wall structure, an internal area enclosed by a top rail 3, a bottom rail 4, and stiles 5, is partitioned by horizontal members 7 to a plurality of upper and lower sections, and block members 6 of respective steps are borne on the bottom rail 4 and the horizontal members 7, followed by interposing vertical members 8 between the right and left block members 6 in the respective steps. Thus each block member 6 is borne inside a grid mesh. Therefore the block members 6 are positively borne by a support body framed like a grid, and the strength of the wall structure 1 is ensured. Further the wall structure can be constructed according to a dry construction method without requiring a wet construction method, and accordingly a construction period is shortened and the workability is enhanced.
