PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying facility capable of reliably preventing occurrence of any status in which a moving body is operated in a forced-release state that the moving body cannot be braked. SOLUTION: The article conveying facility includes a control means which brakes the movement of a driving means for moving a moving body and the movement of the moving body, controls a braking means urged in a braked state, and switches the state into an operational state of operating the moving body and a rest state by a key switch (24), and an attachable/detachable forced-release operation member (30) for achieving the forced-release state in which the braking means is forcibly operated from a braking state to a braking release state.
