PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging paper container that prevents the function of the steam vents of a lower container from being impaired even when a plurality of the paper containers are arranged one above the other. SOLUTION: The food packaging paper container having a container body part 7 and a lid part 8 is formed by folding a piece of paper blank A that has front, rear, left and right sidewalls 2, 3, 4 and 4, and a bottom plate 5 and a lid plate 6. The food packaging paper container is provided with the steam vents 9 formed in the corner part where the specific sidewall 3 of the container body part 7 and the lid plate 6 of the lid part 8 meet.
