A sealing frame (30) for a fuel cell stack comprising an alternating arrangement of flow plates (10) and electrolyte units (20) with cathodes and anodes between them. The frame is built to fit between the plates and ensures mutual sealing of the cathode and anode regions. An Independent claim is also included for flow plates for the above cell.
