<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a demodulator for highly precisely estimating frequency offset. <P>SOLUTION: A complex multiplication part 104 performs complex multiplication of a known symbol separated by a symbol separation part 100 and a replica of the known symbol created by a replica generation part 103 to remove a transmission pattern from the known symbol. A frequency offset estimation part 105 calculates frequency shift between the known symbols from phase difference between the known symbols from which the transmission pattern is removed. A frequency offset compensation amount candidate value creation part 106 creates a plurality of frequency offset compensation amount candidate values by calculating values by adding and subtracting k/T to a value of the frequency shift.
