PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device for reducing data quantity to be managed. SOLUTION: A device information storage region 401 stores information unique to a type of a product which is permitted to access a database 400. When a network I/F 301 receives a data acquisition request from a player 1, a collation part 322 collates the unique information showing the type of the device of a player 1 included in the data acquisition request with unique information stored in the device information storage region 401. When the collation part 322 determines that the unique information showing the type of the device of the player 1 included in the data acquisition request coincides with the unique information stored in the device information storage region 401, a security gate 310 permits the player 1 to access the database 400.
