PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article discrimination system having accuracy and quickness. SOLUTION: This article discrimination system is provided with: a camera 30 for imaging a label; a label image DB 52a for storing a sample image of the label; a label collating/determining section 54a for collating a label image with the sample image of the label; a camera 31 for imaging an article; an article image DB 52b for storing the sample image of the article; an article collating/determining section 54b for collating an article image with the sample image of the article; and an integrated determining section 54c for determining the normality of the article based on a label determining result and an article determining result.
