PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily draw a module out of a rack even during maintenance while actualizing higher-density arrangement of the module. SOLUTION: A mounting unit 50 mounts an electronic component 24 on a shelf. The mounting unit 50 comprises a housing 21 on which an electronic component 24 is mounted, a holder 10 which is fitted to the shelf and has an internal space into which the housing 21 is inserted, a reception portion 13 which is formed on the housing 21 or holder 10 and extends in an insertion direction of the housing 21, and a projection portion 30 which is provided to the housing 21 or holder 10 and displaced according to force received when the housing 21 is inserted to be engaged with the reception portion 13.
