PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument dial and its manufacturing method, for shortening a printing time, and attaining cost reduction. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument dial provided with an index part 5 in background parts 3, 4 by applying print onto a substrate 1 includes a bedding part 2 comprising a screen printed layer provided on the substrate 1; the first background part 3 comprising a screen printed layer formed on the bedding part 2, and not including the index part 5; and the second background part 4 comprising a digital printed layer formed on the bedding part 2, including the index part 5, and linked to the first background part 3.
