The method involves providing laboratory analysis data to a memory (34), which belongs to a data processing unit (38). A data line (36) i.e. local-area-network-link, is provided between the processing unit and a control unit (20) of an imaging system (10). The analysis data is transferred from the processing unit to the control unit, according to an Ethernetstandard, in a format suitable for transferring image data. The analysis data is read out and data content of the analysis data is represented on a display of the imaging system. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer unit i.e. personal computer, including a memory (2) an imaging- and/or therapy system including a control unit.
