The box (10) has a wall (14) that surrounds a storage space (12), and a touchpad (16) for covering the storage space. The touchpad is movable between a position in which the touchpad covers the storage space and another position in which the touchpad sets free the storage space, where the touchpad is movably held in a receiving chamber (18) by a mechanical or electric drive. The receiving chamber is arranged under a screen (20) that partially covers the wall. A movable reinforcement element (24) is movable for partial supporting of the touchpad, and a covering unit (28) covers the touchpad.
