A method and device for downlink transmitting process based on a dual-polarized array antenna. The dual-polarization array antenna is divided into the first polarized array antenna group and the second polarized array antenna group according to the polarized direction. The method includes: performing wave beam forming process to downlink signal to be transmitted of the dual-polarized array antenna; transmitting the wave beam formed downlink signal to be transmitted, wherein, the transmitting time of the signal to be transmitted of the first polarized array antenna group is delayed by a predefined time delay length compared to the transmitting time of the signal to be transmitted of the second polarized array antenna group.
