<p>The present invention concerns a device and a method for setting up a connection between a first device and a second device, the first device comprising a plurality of pairs, the first device being connected to the second device with at least one pair of the plurality of pairs, the method comprising the steps, at the first device, of sending a request on each one of the plurality of pairs, receiving a response on at least one pair from said second device, the response comprising an indication on the number of pairs used in the connection, and if the number of pairs used in the connection matches the number of at least one pair that received a response, activating the at least one pair that received a response as a pair connected to the second device.</p> |
