<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repeated signal detection method for an MIMO system. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes an arithmetic step of searching an antenna with the highest receiving signal reliability from a plurality of antenna candidates in the k-th detection layer by the use of an arithmetic parameter computed based on maximum posterior probability algorithm, and storing, with respect to the searched antenna, S paths of paths having the maximum posterior probability as survival paths, in which when k is 1, the arithmetic parameter is an initialized arithmetic parameter, and when k is larger than 1, the arithmetic parameter is an arithmetic parameter updated according to the detection result of the k-1-th detection layer; an antenna deletion step of updating the arithmetic parameter according to the arithmetic result, and deleting the antenna with the highest receiving signal reliability from the antenna candidates; and a repeating step of repeating both the steps until all the antenna candidates are deleted.
