SOLUTION: The digital data accumulating device accumulating a plurality of pieces of digital data includes: a data accumulating means for accumulating data in units of data portions constituting each digital data, an accumulation determining means for identifying the whole or a portion of digital data to be accumulated with a data portion accumulated in the data accumulating means, a data writing means for accumulating into the data accumulating means a data portion which is not the same as a data portion accumulated in the data accumulating means, and a data managing means for managing each digital data by forming management information showing the location of the data portion in the data accumulating means.
