PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound that exhibits selective antagonism against a histamine H4 receptor and is useful for the treatment of a disease associated with the histamine H4 receptor. SOLUTION: The new compound is a 3-naphthylpyrazole compound represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof, or a solvate thereof. In the formula, the ring A is a 6-10C aryl group; X is -(CH2)n- or -CH=N- (wherein n is an integer of 1-6); Y is an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or NR8; and Z is a single bond or a -CHR7- group.
