PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cutting device made easy to handle by making a fixing device lighter in weight. SOLUTION: An electric device includes a rotary cutting device body; and the fixing device attached to the rotary cutting device body and removably fixing the rotary cutting device body to a work. The fixing device includes a frame; a pair of clamping members 36 pivotally movably mounted to the frame making a pivot axis A as a center; an expansion/contraction member 46 provided between the pair of clamping members 36, made expandable/contractable in a direction parallel to a line connecting the pair of pivot axes A and pivotally attached to the pair of clamping members 36; and a continuous connection member 66 for continuously connecting the pair of clamping members 36 and pivotally moving the other clamping member around the pivot axis A in an opposite direction when one clamping member is pivotally moved around the pivot axis A in any one of a clockwise direction and a counterclockwise direction.
