<p>A parking control device for a vehicle, capable of operating a parking lock mechanism as quickly as possible when an operation body is operated to a parking position by the driver. Delay time control means (148) controls a delay time tD which is a time after a shift lever (32) is operated to a preset parking position until the rotation of the output shaft (24) of an automatic transmission (6), which is a power transmission mechanism, is locked by a shift control mechanism (parking lock mechanism)(105). In the above, the control by the delay time control means (148) is made such that the greater is torsional torque TTW accumulated in the output shaft (24) of the power transmission mechanism, the longer is the delay time tD. This sufficiently releases to a required degree the torsional torque TTW accumulated in the output shaft (24), enabling the shift control mechanism (parking lock mechanism)(105) to be operated as quickly as possible.</p> |
