The device has a transport unit i.e. cabin (1), transportable in a vehicle e.g. road vehicle, where the transport unit has no drive unit and is inserted into the vehicle. The transport unit is transportable on a moving floor or on a carriage in a lift i.e. inclined lift, in an inner side of a building. The transport unit has a lighting system, an air-conditioning system, a seat (5) and an operating unit (4), which is connected with a control device of the vehicle by an interface (3). The control device is provided for controlling the vehicle from the transport unit.
