Disclosed is a thermal insulting material commercialized in paper sacs, which is based on cellulose fibres, lime, alum, hydrated calcium sulfate, titanium dioxide and cement. The material is characterised in that it is suitably adhered to flat surfaces and caves made of the following materials: concrete, brick, wood, asbestos, metallic sheet, plastic sheet. In addition, the invention is characterised in that it has a low thermal conductivity, a high mechanical resistance and a fire-resistant character. The material may be applied in outer or inner surfaces of housing, where the plasticity thereof allows a finish to be obtained in the desired form and colour. The material has the advantage of being easily applied, therefore the application may be performed by any person.
