<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized optometer allowing a user to measure by himself/herself. <P>SOLUTION: The optometer comprises: a projecting device 19 for projecting target projection data composed of characters or codes of a size corresponding to the visual acuity; a measuring window 12 which permits observation by the user; a convertible lens 15 which is arranged in the measuring window 12 and permits change of the focal distance by a lens driving device; a lens operating member 14 for outputting operation signals to operate the lens driving device; a computing device 16 for computing either the visual acuity or the eye refractive power based on the operation signals; and a display 13 for displaying either the computed visual acuity or eye refractive power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
