摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrode plate of high accuracy from a continuous body after paste filling by using an expanding method without so much changing conventional installations, to cope with the requirement for a higher dimensional accuracy in electrode plate processing in view of possible early capacity degradation due to short circuiting or the like after finish of battery manufacture, caused by bending of the plate generated at cutting of the expanded continuous body into unit electrode plates. <P>SOLUTION: In a process of cutting into an electrode unit with the combination of a die cylinder and an anvil cylinder, an angle of each blade provided at the die cylinder for cutting a top-frame bone of the electrode plate and a punched portion at a plain part side is to satisfy: &alpha;<&beta;, when an electrode side angle against a blade axis line is denoted by &alpha;, and that of the plain part side &beta;, thereby, expanded electrode plates of high accuracy can be obtained from the continuous body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
