PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem, wherein the heat generated by friction between a timing belt and a pulley is transmitted to a bearing portion which supports a developing roll so that developer in contact with the bearing portion is fixed to the bearing portion and the developing roll causes failure in operation, in a developing device which is used for an electrophotographic device. SOLUTION: In the developing device transmitting the driving force of a motor to the developing roll supported by a bearing by the timing belt, the pulley and a key, for the pulley.
