PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of replacing gas inside of a pipe, which can reduce the air replacing time and which can reduce the air blowing power when replacing the gas inside of the pipe with air. SOLUTION: An air replacing ejector 10 is used to suck air by the compressed air traction using the compressed air supplied from a compressed air supply pipe 15. In addition to the compressed air supplied through the compressed air supply pipe 15, air sucked by the air replacing ejector 10 is blown together into a blast furnace gas transporting pipe 1.
