PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processor that facilitates positioning of a media drive. SOLUTION: A publisher has a media drive 41, a media drive frame 47 and a positioning mechanism 106, and the positioning mechanism 106 has a slide supporting part 107 that slidably supports the media drive 41 in a moving direction of a media tray 41a with respect to the media drive frame 47, a torsion spring 115 that energizes the media drive 41 to one sliding direction with respect to the media drive frame 47, a positioning section that moves the media drive 41 while pressing in the opposite direction with respect to the media drive frame 47, and a fixing screw member 111 that fixes the media drive 41 with respect to the media drive frame 47.
