PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restraining structure capable of attaching a plate member to an attachment part in a short time, without using a screw, and to provide a display device that has the restraining structure. SOLUTION: The restraining structure comprises: a front cabinet 1; and a first rib 4; a second rib 5 and a projection plate part 6 having a cut-off part 6a on the top end part thereof which are disposed on the cabinet 1, whereby the first rib 4 restrains one side part of an LED substrate 20, the second rib 5 restrains the other side part of the LED substrate 20 and the cut-off part 6a restrains a part between the one side and the other side parts of the LED substrate 20.
