PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft-versus-host disease(GVHD)-associated gene, especially the associated gene of the GVHD developed after cord blood cell transplantation.

SOLUTION: The graft-versus-host disease-associated gene is the one including a DNA of (a) or (b): (a) a DNA comprising a specific base sequence; and (b) a DNA hybridizing with a DNA comprising a base sequence complementary to the DNA of (a) under a stringent condition, and having a function for detecting an mRNA of the graft-versus-host disease-associated gene.
