<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, in order to detect objects located in a plurality of different detection regions by a conventional antenna device, a plurality of antennas having different radiation-reception patterns must be prepared and changed over according to an application, a plurality of antenna devices of the same type must be arranged and combined with one another, or the phases of the antennas of an array structure must be changed, thereby size is increased, and cost is increased because a processing time and control are complicated. <P>SOLUTION: This antenna device is provided with an array antenna 10 composed by arranging two array antenna elements 11 and 12 each composed by arranging a plurality of flat antenna elements 15 in a line in the same plane line-symmetrically in two lines in the same plane. By making the values of power supplied to the two-line array antenna elements 11 and 12 different from each other, targeted radiation and reception pattern of radio waves can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
