<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display whether a running task can be canceled or not when an instruction to shut down an image forming apparatus is given. <P>SOLUTION: When an instruction to shut down an image forming apparatus is provided, a list of tasks is generated and displayed based on the characteristics and operation state of each task.
