<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to diagnose in detail drying state inside a fuel cell regarding the fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: Drying state inside the fuel cell is diagnosed based on changes in peak positions of current density on the power generation face by measuring distribution of the current density in the power generation face of the fuel cell. If it is the fuel cell in which a reaction gas (hydrogen) on the anode side and the reaction gas (air) on the cathode side flow in opposition interposing the power generation face, it is decided that to which of the anode exit side and a cathode exit side, the peak position of the current density has moved. Based on the decision result, it can be identified on which of the anode side and the cathode side, drying-up is occurring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
