<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in estimation of the rotational position of a rotor by identifying motor parameters accurately. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 7 is equipped with a reference signal generator 23, which generates a reference signal for parameter identification, a parameter identifier 22, which identifies the motor parameter, based on a two-phase directing voltage V<SB>αβ</SB>and a two-phase detecting current I<SB>αβ</SB>, and a position estimator 21, which estimates the rotational position of the rotor, based on the identified motor parameter. The parameter identifier 22 identifies the motor parameter, based on a motor model v=(R+pL)i+ε where a compensating item is introduced. However, v is a voltage to be applied to the motor, R is resistance in stator coil, L is inductance of the motor, p is a differential operator, i is a motor current, and ε is a compensating item which does not depend upon a current response. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
