PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of forming a cut line parallel to a paper transport direction while printing on a paper. SOLUTION: The printer is equipped with a cutter device 7 in the downstream side of the paper transport direction in a printing part for forming a successive cut line to the transport direction. The cutter device is set so as to control a length of the cut line in response to an amount of the paper fed by a dip switch 18 and goes up and down in a transport course of paper 4. A circle cutter blade 14 can be replaced with a perforating blade giving an intermittent cut line. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
